The concept of “naturalness” refers to a human-made dispositif that categorizes wildlife and strategically repurposes it to legitimize the efficient use of animals customized to human needs – that is, as products.
To visualize the contrasts and consequences of these categorizations, I assembled this picture anthology that discusses power structures between “human” and “animal” in Western societies.
Consequently, this collection portrays the current state of these societies rather than actual animality.
